Construction Skills Certification Scheme
The FAS Construction Skills Certification Scheme lays the foundation for the creation of competent, confident and committed operatives within the Construction Industry. The FAS register provides employers with reassurance that their registered operatives on site have been given recognition for their levels of skill, competence and knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
FAS, following detailed consultation with specialist working parties representing specific occupational groups and with the support of the Construction Industry Training Committee, has developed a range of Certified Training Programmes for experienced operatives and new entrants who wish to obtain formal certification and registration.
